MPPHED or Madhya Pradesh Public Health Engineering Department lays
special stress to the function of reducing the diseases in the areas
administered by the organization and try to keep the environment free from all
the elements which result in the spreading of deadly diseases among the people
of that particular area. The Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Maryadit is an
organization which works in close coordination with the MPPHED due t the fact
that this organization looks after the disease prevention related issues,
mainly water- borne. The organization looks after the proper distribution of
safe and secure drinking water to all the households coming under its
administration and control. The highly critical function of ensuring the proper
clearing and maintenance of the sewage system in these areas is also taken care
of by the organization. The organization also controls and efficiently manages
the tender documents related processes which take place for the sewage disposal
activity in the area. The organization also pays special attention towards the
water harvesting and conservation activities. The organization is also involved
with activities such as the outsourcing of the maintenance activities of the
water supply operations and sewerage related operations that need to be given
special care. The department also pays special attention to the activities that
have to be carried out on a timely basis in order to invite and attract the
well-renowned activists and entrepreneurs of the society to voluntarily take up
various types of projects which could be helpful in the above mentioned
activities for the regions.
MPPHED has notified about the recruitment process that it is going
to conduct for the vacancies related to the posts at various capacities in the
organization. The last date to apply for these posts is8th October 2012.
MPPHED has invited applications from eligible candidates for the
various posts in the organization. The total number of vacancies that has been
notified by the organization for the various posts is 507, which have been
divided as follows:

The lower and upper age limits set for the posts of Consultants is
25 years and 45 years respectively. The age limit for the post of Zonal
Coordinator is 21 years to 45 years. Upper age limit relaxations are applicable
for the candidates belonging to the reservation categories as per the
instructions of the government.
The educational qualification required for the posts of
Consultants in various disciplines is to have a Post Graduate degree with 65%
aggregate marks in the relevant stream. The candidates must also have
appropriate knowledge of computer operations. For the post of Zonal
coordinator, the candidates need to have a graduation degree.
The candidates will initially be shortlisted on the basis of the
qualifications and experience that they have. These shortlisted candidates will
have to go through a written test round. The final selection decision will be
based on the performance of the candidates in this round.
The maximum remuneration for all the posts except the Zonal
Coordinator Profile is Rs. 25000 per month. The salary fixed for the Zonal
Coordinator is Rs. 10150 per month.
The application fee that has to be paid by the general and OBC
candidates would be Rs. 600 (exempt for SC/ST/PH candidates). The portal
charges would be Rs. 50 for all the candidates and these payments have to be
made through kiosks/credit/debit cards. The candidates may apply for the
available vacancies through the online mode in the prescribed format before the
date 8th October 2012.
